Hi, I'm Elana - the founder of The Green Porch Co. I am a self-taught gardener and native plant enthusiast. My plant journey started with growing herbs on the windowsill in Brighton, MA in 2014. I have killed more plants than I can count - "easy" plants, seedlings, shrubs, you name it. Everyone has to start somewhere and through trial and error, I have grown a green thumb.

I live in Lincoln, MA with my husband, daughter, and dog. My woodland garden balances native habitat restoration with modern design. Whether you are starting small, designing a garden from scratch, or adding natives to your garden, I would love to help you get started.
